Just as the Great Outdoor Games is the Championship for Outdoor Sports…you are all the Champions of this year's event! You weathered Hurricane Dennis and looked great doing it! Every time I looked up I saw another smiling face in a bright yellow Guide shirt. We could not have produced this event without you…THANK YOU!

There's no event in sports like the ESPN Great Outdoor Games! We are always recruiting volunteers for the Games…please sign up below. Thousands of spectators visit the Great Outdoor Games and we look to the Volunteers (also called a Guide) to assist with maintaining a positive and friendly environment. This is a great chance to join the 200-plus competitors vying for honors in various Timber, Target, Motor and Dog Sporting Events.

The primary function of a Great Outdoor Games Guide is to provide assistance to spectators and staff during the event. The staff relies on the Guides to assist in communicating event information and providing guidance to spectators of the Games to ensure a successful, safe event. Guides are the eyes and ears of the event and we could not produce this event without you.

Positions available include: (click on links for more information)
Lead Guides – all day, every day Thursday through Saturday
Event Guides – approximately 4- to 6-hour shifts, Thursday through Saturday
