24 racers will be invited to race on a track of straight-aways, turns, jumps, water hazards and other obstacles. The 24 riders will be divided into two heats of 12, for two heat races approximately 10-15 minutes in length. The top six riders from each heat will advance to the Finals, with the remaining six from each heat joining together for a last-chance qualifying race of 12 riders, with the top four moving on to the finals. The finals will feature 16 riders in a race approximately 20 minutes in length.
The total number of laps for each of the heat races, the last-chance qualifier and the finals will be determined following build-out of the course. Racer's ATVs must be based on production four-stroke single cylinder 450cc engine. The frame, engine cases, cylinder component (whether separate or part of the engine cases) and cylinder head must originate from the same model ATV. A standard race-safety flag system will be used to signal racers while on-course.
