Os vencedores do Brazil Game Awards 2023 foram divulgados nesta terça-feira (5) e Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo (FURIA) e Julia "Jelly" Iris (LOUD Female) foram eleitos os Melhores Atletas de Esports do Brasil do ano. A LOUD também levou para casa a categoria de Melhor Equipe de Esports, enquanto o League of Legends foi nomeado o Melhor Jogo de Esports. O BGA possui um júri independente composto por sites de games, influenciadores e criadores de conteúdo.
Na área dos games, Baldur’s Gate 3, desenvolvido e publicado pelo Larian Studios, levou a almejada categoria de Jogo do Ano e outras duas: Melhor RPG e Melhor Multiplayer, conquistando três das quatro categorias em que foi indicado. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, um outro destaque de 2023, venceu em duas categorias: Melhor Jogo de Ação e Aventura e Melhor Trilha Sonora.
Pocket Bravery, jogo nacional desenvolvido pelo Statera Studio e publicado pela PQube, foi o grande vencedor do prêmio de Jogo Brasileiro do Ano. Nos simuladores de jogos esportivos, Forza Motorsport levou como Melhor Jogo de Corrida e Melhor Jogo de Esporte.
