    Notable
    Randy says the Great Outdoor Games is the only archery event he does any more. He is also a real endurance athlete competing in adventure racing - which includes kayaking, biking, running, etc. He will compete in an adventure race the weekend after Great Outdoor Games. He says he does not prepare for the Games mentally, because he does so much physical preparation. He also feels he has been competing for so long that, physically and mentally, he'll be prepared.

    Randy loves the archery and says, "I can relax and enjoy it. I am not as driven to win, but that does not mean I don't want to win. I am not all consumed with competition until I get there." He also says, " Go in with the right mental attitude. You can't feel bad about going out the very first round. More than likely, you'll go home without being in the top four."
