Chris and Mayhem are Guinness Book of World Record holder for Dog Weaving (60 weavepoles in 9:54 seconds). But Mayhem was severely injury in February when his toe (that had been previously broken on an A-frame slat) caught in the carpet at the AKC nationals. "His front end went one way and his back end when the other," she said. He sprained his lower back, tore a muscle in his quadricep, tore a groin muscle and re-injured the toe. He spent a month in a rehab hospital and another month resting at home.

"I had recovered from my own emergency surgery when Mayhem was injured. I remember after February thinking, 'If we can come back from this- come back and still perform well - we'll be the Cinderella story of Agility.' I'm very goal oriented. When Mayhem came into my life and I saw how talented he was, I sold my business and started competing full time. I knew he had it. And I think this is our year for the Great Outdoor Games.
